A representative from the third precinct has been giving information at each Board of Directors meeting. The police are encouraging everyone to be diligent in locking their vehicles. Upwards of 90% of the thefts in our area have been related to people leaving their vehicles unlocked, some while running. Most of the vehicle thefts have been caused by people leaving their cars unlocked with the keys inside. Please lock your vehicles! If you see someone trying to break into cars by doing things like checking the handles, please report it to the police immediately.
